hi! ok, i just had a hearing test, and i have lost a lot of treble, so this may be just my imagination, but here goes:
has anyone noticed that the UFC fights are poorly mixed? the commentators are mixed so far back, the ambient noise makes them hard to hear. i was ready to think that someone, somewhere, had put sound compression on the whole mix, flattening out the sound volumes. but then i can certainly hear the coaches yelling stuff, and the ref comes through loud and clear when he says something. so paramount+ is doing a shitty job? or is my hearing reaching end of life after 25 years of playing rock and roll?
(actually, the commentators are not that great, so i'm not missing much.)
