Hi,
I was wondering if other people run into the same issue.

I avoid all day watching the results of the NBA games from the night before. I avoid social media all day because I want to watch yesterday's game in the evening when I get home after work and dinner. I usually pick specific games because I like the match up.

I watch the game only to find out it is a blow out, some of the key players do not play, the overall play is poor, etc , etc ... you get it ... it is just not a good game. I go check the results only to see that there where other games on that were so much better.

Here is my question : would it make sense to add a way for people who have watched the games to give it a rating. No result, no content, etc .... just a comment that says "you should really watch this game because it is f**ing good or a really close game"

Been thinking about this for a while. There are sites (spoiler free scores) out there that do this, but feedback on NBA games is poor.

Would be curious what other people think about this and if it would be possible at all.

Thanks

PS: THANK YOU ADMIN!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! :yahoo:

I'd rather have a quality feedback. Some of the games have for example very badly out of sync audio.

And I'm not blaming anyone for anything. I'm just saying it would be nice to know that when I'm downloading a game.

I start with the first 2 minutes in which they tell who's playing and who's out. Then i will check the scores at halftime, if the difference is big but i like the team(s) playing i will check the score and the end of 3rd and so on.

This post made me remind the shitpost of last year where someone thanked the poster for this season as a reply to the last games of the finals. Getting mad even thinking about it. That was a bitch spoiler. I am afraid people will rate the game as 'not great' when they have seen their favorite team has lost and therefor spoil the game.

But hey, just my 2 cents

You can use this site in one way, just by looking on the "Views" column!

I have one more suggestion.

When play-offs starts, please don't name torrents or subjects as Game 1, 2,3,4,5,6,7 etc. This would eventually gives idea (after Game 4) which team could win or loose.

Keep it at least name of the torrents or topics on forum without game numbers, please.

User feedback can be subjective. And it is hard to pretend that you don't already know the score 1 day after the game is finished. I assumed somebody willing to visit this or other sites is a hoop/sports enthusiast that follows closely. Personally, I want to keep games for archival reasons and being able to rewatch or analyse (I already know the scores and details, even have watched some games live earlier) but I guess YMMV.

Hi guys,
I just came back to this post and did not realize there were more replies.

Scoring games is indeed extremely subjective. However with some of the ideas here we get a pretty good idea of what games to watch. I now use:

- number of views per game on this site
- wikihoops.com
- Swish NBA channel on youtube

All good sources without spoilers. Sometimes I'd watch a game I know the result of, but which I aslo know is a great game. So much more fun to watch a great game not knowing who will take the W seconds before it ends ....

Surely we should not be trying to reinvent the wheel. There are lots of websites (eg https://wikihoops.com/) that rate games without giving away the score - you can go and look at these websites and then come back here and download the games you want to then watch. Basketball fans are the most amazing people on the planet - always providing these sort of things for each other - you just have to go searching for them (google is amazing for this).

We don't pay a lot for this amazing service so what we get is what we should be happy with.
